Handling conflicts between DITA and Warnings

Zebrafish International Documentation team will present "Handling conflicts between DITA and Warnings" at the DITA Europe 2010 conference in Vienna.

DITA is one of the most important innovations in XML publishing this century. It means

  • Darwin - DITA provides a single-sourced information model that can be specialized and evolved to account for particular authoring needs.
  • Information Typing - DITA was designed for technical information based on a core set of information types: concept, task, and reference.
  • Architecture - DITA provides a framework for designing and delivering technical content efficiently.

Using DITA means working with the new international OASIS/XML standard for topic-based authoring of well structured content. Out of the box, DITA provides a structure amenable to most technical information. And it provides users a mechanism for extending the structure to meet specific industry's needs.
